A graduate of the University of Toronto, he received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1992 and his Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation in 1998. Stive worked in public practice and with the Canada Revenue Agency before joining TMFD Financial at CI Assante Wealth Management Ltd. in 1995.
